just finished the mission easily.. and all we got was a couple purps from drops.. with the message and stuff you get all exited.. and BAM

i just tried it as a monk and we killed 7 of 8 before getting smacked down hard. im usually a pretty optimistic guy but the drops were non-max or jade orbs and now i hear the reward for finishing it is 50 orbs? WHOOPIDEE FRICKING DOOO!

Just to confirm, my group got no ectos, no golds, no valuable drops whatsoever. Most likely no new greens. Saw no chests either...

I got to the 2nd portal, died by the mass of Dryders and stuff... I decided to see how people do it and the reward. I'm sure glad I did that and didn't waste my time. 50 JADE WIND ORBS THAT IS THE SUCKIEST REWARD EVER...I hope I didn't offend anyone lol. It doesn't seem like the time it was worth. I believe that ANet has added something that we haven't found yet. People explore some more : )

This is interesting (from guildwiki):
If you start the quest with a party of 3 henchmen, you will appear in Haiju Lagoon with 6 henchmen, for a total of 7 party members. Too bad the henchies are low level from that region. I wonder if there is a way to take advantage of this... |

LOL Anet you got us, wow 50 orbs, but I am sure there is something else in the mix, hmm perhaps true canthans are the ones who would defend cantha for a crappy reward? Also since you did save Kisu essentially he may just reward you for its completion? theory to the max, also I will try the quest anyway, I just luuuurve smacking around those grasps. MUAHAHAHAHA
